Travelled by train from Glasgow to Burnley to buy my new civic from Mike and Michael. Mike picked me up from a the local station before giving me an extended test drive in the car.
Really refreshing to find car guys that like their job, are interested in giving good service rather than pure profit (with the irony being that repeat custom is likely from satisfied customers) and who don't have an aggressive approach to sales and who appear to be entirely competent. Service was so great, that I'm giving consideration to doing the 400 mile round trip to buy from these gentlemen when I replace our battered old focus in a couple of years time.
Other dealerships could learn a thing or two from Mike and Michael about making the experience of buying a car simple and stress free. I'm looking at you, Arnold Clark.
